As well as consultations by appointment 6 days a week, we work with Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester to ensure veterinary help is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event of an emergency, day or night, please call 01280 703451.

Outside of normal working hours cases are seen at Hart Veterinary Centre, Bicester, OX26 2XL (see map below). Like Croft Veterinary Centre, Hart Vets is accredited by the RCVS, has the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment of your pets, and have a great team of friendly, qualified and experienced vets and nurses. Hart Vets also has a dedicated team of night nurses meaning cases admitted out of hours benefit from the same continuous high standard of care as they would during the day.
- Hart Vets is approximately a 15-minute drive away from Brackley. The full address is Hart Veterinary Centre, Browning Drive, Bicester, OX26 2XL. For clients without access to a means of transport Braxci Taxi Service, contactable on 01280 700600, operates 24/7 and is happy to take most pets.
- Please note fees for emergency services out of normal working hours will be payable directly to Hart Veterinary Centre.
- Once patients have been treated and discharged at Hart Vets all relevant clinical notes will be forwarded to us so that follow-up can be provided at Croft Vets.
- Any patients hospitalised at Croft Veterinary Centre in normal working hour will continue to have night and weekend care provided by our own staff.

Please note emergency cases seen outside of normal opening hours are seen at Hart Veterinary Centre, Bicester, OX26 2XL, and may incur an out of hours fee in addition to examination and treatment costs.
Out of hours fees apply after 8pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday; after 6:30pm Wednesday and Thursday; and after 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
The out of hours fee is £90 until 10pm and £180 from 10pm until 8am.
There is a reduced fee for small furries (rodents etc.): £60 until 10pm and £100 from 10pm until 8am.
For cases which may not need to see a veterinary surgeon an out of hours nurse consult is charged at £60 regardless of the time of night.
