We are currently in the process of applying to become an accredited Cat Friendly Clinic. Cat Friendly Clinics is a worldwide programme from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), the veterinary division of International Cat Care. The Cat Friendly Clinic programme is designed to help reduce the stress associated with visits to the vets for both cats and their owners.

At Croft Veterinary Centre we have always been keen to adopt any practical way to make our patient’s visits that bit easier (whether feline, canine, or any other shapes and sizes!). Becoming accredited as a Cat Friendly Clinic will help us maintain and improve on these standards. As part of our Cat Friendly Clinic application we have appointed veterinary nurse Sam Hancock to be our ‘Cat Advocate’. This role means Sam will ensure we continue to meet the ISFM Cat Friendly Criteria and she will be a point of contact for any queries. We’re hoping to her the results of our application anytime soon – fingers crossed!
