We are delighted to announce that Croft Veterinary Centre has been awarded Cat Friendly Clinic Status at Silver level! This accreditation acknowledges the facilities and steps we have taken to promote good cat wellbeing during trips to, or stays at, our veterinary clinic. The Cat Friendly Clinic programme has been set up by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), the veterinary division of International Cat Care, and is designed to help reduce the stress associated with visits to the vets, for both cats and their owners, and to help promote high standards of feline veterinary care.
Veterinary nurse Sam Hancock is our appointed ‘Cat Advocate’ who will be a point of contact for any queries and ensure we continue to meet the ISFM Cat Friendly Criteria. We must also thank veterinary nurse Bonnie Wood who did all the hard work measuring kennels, photographing equipment and filling out all the paperwork for our application before she moved onto her new job.
See the below leaflet on ‘What is a Cat Friendly Clinic?’ to find out what our Silver level status means.
