During June we will be supporting the 10th annual National Microchipping Month by offering

microchipping at the reduced price of £19.95

(usually £24.95).

Microchipping is a very quick process that involves injecting a sterile microchip, which is about the size of a small grain of rice, under the skin between the shoulder blades. Advantages of having your pet microchipped include:
– Pets can be quickly re-united with their owners if they become lost.
– It is a requirement for a Pet Passport to have a microchip.
– At Croft Veterinary Centre we use Biotherm identichips which additionally provide a non-invasive way to check your pets temperature and have a anti-migration coating so they stay in the location where it’s implanted.
– As of 6th April 2016 it will be compulsory for all dogs to be microchipped.

Please call 01280 703451 to arrange an appointment if you want to take advantage of this offer during June.

If your pet is already microchipped please ensure the details held on the database are up to date. We can provide you with the contact details of the relevant database if needed.

Please note it is a legal requirement, under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, that any dog in a public place must where a collar with name and address of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag. Your telephone number is optional (but advisable). This applies even if a dog is microchipped.
