Has your pet decided to finally shift those extra pounds or get over their firework phobia in 2013? If so then we’re here to help.
Weight Clinics are free of charge and provide the opportunity for one of our qualified veterinary nurses to develop an individual diet and exercise plan for those pets needing to loose weight. Regular check ups will be arranged to monitor how well things are going and a prescription obesity diet can be prescribed when deemed suitable. To make an appointment please contact us on 01280 703451.
If your dog has shown increasing signs of a Firework Fear or Phobia during November or over the New Year period then now is a good time to make an appointment with one of our qualified nurses to discuss how we can help them cope. It’s best to start a fireworks desensitisation programme (which helps a dog gradually get used to the loud noises and learn not to be scared of them) at a time of year when they’re unlikely to encounter them whilst out and about. To find out what options are available give us a phone call or make an appointment with one of the nurses.
We also have an information leaflet on the therapies available to help with firework phobias which can be downloaded by clicking here.
