Fees and Payment
Payment is required at the time of treatment or on collection of your pet after hospitalisation. We will happily provide a written estimate of the probable costs of the cause of treatment, but please bear in mind that any estimate given can only be approximate – often a pet’s illness will not follow a conventional course.
In the case of pet insurance claims please be aware that it is your responsibility to settle your account and then reclaim the fees from your insurance company. Please note, as of March 2021, we will be charging an admin fee to process insurance claims. This is a fixed fee applicable to both new and continuation claims.
If, for any reason, you are concerned about proposed costs of treatment or are unable to settle your account as specified we ask you to discuss the matter as soon as possible with a member of staff.

We strongly recommend that all pet owners consider pet insurance. It can provide for the unexpected expense, such as a road traffic accident or poisoning, as well as help out with the financial demands of long term conditions, such as some skin diseases and heart problems.
You may be surprised to hear that you are more likely to claim on your pet insurance than your car or household policies (Allianz Insurance plc). In fact, in our experience if you don’t need to claim on your pet insurance you really are very lucky indeed! It’s important to be aware that not all pet insurance is the same. Some policies limit the amount of time or money that you can claim for so don’t just shop around on price alone.
