Nurse Clinics

Our nurses are here to help in all sorts of ways

Nurses will often be your first point of contact before seeing one of our vets and are available to give advice over the phone on a wide range of topics including nutrition, training and behaviour.

They have their own clinics running on an appointment basis for:

  • Dental checks
  • Claw clipping
  • Help with overweight pets
  • Removing sutures, bandage checks and changes
  • Initial advice on behavioural problems – including noise and firework phobias
  • Puppy and kitten checks – an initial free appointment to help you when your new pet first arrives
  • Flea and worming advice including giving cats worming tablets
  • Diabetes clinics – Ali and Bonnie have been trained as diabetes counsellors

The nurses also run Puppy Parties once a month for new puppies to the practice, generally between their first and second vaccinations. This gives the puppies a chance to get used to coming to the practice as well as giving them the opportunity to meet other people and puppies.

Please contact reception on 01280 703451 to make an appointment for a nurse clinic.
